Medi-Cal & Covered California

Keep eligible individuals and families covered with Medi-Cal, including doula services for pregnancy, birth, and postpartum.

Or help individuals and families join Covered California so each growing family can have the right care.

Improve Medi-Cal Members' Access Through the Transitional Care Services Policy

The California Department of Health Care Services is working with Managed Care Plans (MCPs) to support Medi-Cal members transitioning between care settings and back to their community, including at the end of a pregnancy and regardless of how or where that pregnancy ended, using the Transitional Care Services Policy.

Find key information for assessing Medi-Cal members' risks and needs, and connecting eligible members with MCPs that are implementing TCS for their care.
